Wartungsarbeiten: Kein Zugriff auf sämtliche Internetdienste des DPMA am 29.5. bis 1.6.

Hinweis zu Einschränkungen der IT-Systeme und Dienstleistungen (Stand: 28.5.2026)

Aufgrund geplanter Wartungsarbeiten stehen die elektronischen Einreichungs- und Kommunikationswege des DPMA in der Zeit von Freitag, 29. Mai, 2026 ab 14 Uhr bis Montag, 1. Juni 2026, 12 Uhr nicht zur Verfügung.

Eine elektronische Übermittlung von Schutzrechtsanmeldungen und sonstigen Eingaben ist während dieses Zeitraums nicht möglich. Ebenso ist die Erreichbarkeit der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter per Telefon und E-Mail eingeschränkt beziehungsweise nicht gewährleistet.

Für Schutzrechtsanmeldungen und sonstige Eingaben steht Ihnen ausschließlich der postalische Versandweg sowie die Einreichung in Papierform bei den Dienststellen in Berlin, München und Jena zur Verfügung. Die Dienststellen sind auch am Wochenende sowie außerhalb der üblichen Geschäftszeiten für die Einreichung in Papierform zugänglich. Zusätzlich können Schutzrechtsanmeldungen in Papierform eingereicht werden bei einigen Patentinformationszentren, die Entgegennahmestellen des DPMA sind. Diese sind auch am Wochenende sowie außerhalb der üblichen Geschäftszeiten für die Einreichung in Papierform zugänglich. Nähere Informationen hierzu finden Sie auf www.piznet.de.

Patentanwaltskandidatinnen und -kandidaten, die am 1. Juni 2026 an der Patentanwaltsprüfung im DPMA teilnehmen, beachten bitte die ihnen hierzu mit E-Mail zugegangenen besonderen Hinweise.

Maintenance: DPMA´s internet services not available from 29 May to 1 June

Notice regarding temporary disruption to technical systems

Due to urgent maintenance work, the technical systems of the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA) will be unavailable from 29 May to 1 June 2026. During this period, the DPMA will not be able to accept any electronic submissions relating to intellectual property rights – not even by fax. Furthermore, the Office will not be reachable by telephone or e-mail. The regular DPMA website will also be unavailable; a notice regarding the maintenance work will be displayed at www.dpma.de. According to current plans, the work will take place from Friday (29 May 2026) at 2 p.m. until Monday (1 June 2026) at 12 noon.

However, on maintenance days, it is still possible to submit documents relating to intellectual property rights to the offices in Berlin, Munich and Jena in paper form. The offices are also open at weekends and outside normal office hours for the submission of paper copies.

In addition, applications for intellectual property rights may be submitted in paper form at certain patent information centres, which act as receiving offices for the Office.
